Some encaustic strips I cut off a single piece. Theses are over 48" long. I will be using them in future pieces.

Encaustic is my primary medium because of the unique depth and texture it brings to my subjects. Nature heavily informs my work and I use my photography as inspiration as seen in my trees and landscapes. I manipulate the wax through scraping, using impressions and smoothing techniques. My signature technique is carving into deep multi-colored layers bringing a richness and complexity to the work.
